NARRA is a student-run news media organization. Founded under the supervision of Ma. Theresa Martelino-Reyes, it is published by student journalists taking a deeper and more engaging look into current environmental issues with a focus on the Philippine context.

Objectives

To provide an accessible and understandable source of environmental features for the Filipino youth, and in doing so increase public interest regarding the state of our environment.
To research, and produce a diverse set of environmental features varying from long form reports that are relevant to the Filipino youth through an online platform; and
To aid the youth in making informed decisions in pursuit of their democratic rights.
To invite and engage contributors such as writers, environmentalists, and environmental advocates to give their own perspective on current national and worldwide issues.

Mission

Our mission is to report politically and culturally relevant environmental issues and to present ways and alternatives to address such issues.

Vision

The organization envisions an engaged, informed, and environmentally conscious Filipino youth.

Coverage

Political: will cover implementations and regulation of environmental policies in the Philippines. Stories will be written in context with international policies and standards.
Cultural: will focus on practices, experiences and effects of environmentally relevant issues today. This will also cover pop-culture related to the environment and other environmental trends
