Coastal Cleanup at Las Piñas, Parañaque

Volunteers take part on the coastal cleanup event to rehabilitate the Philippine Wetland Park at Las Piñas Critical Habitat and Ecotourism area.
The event was organized by the United Tribes Organization Study (UTROS) Group. While the coastal cleanup is considered a "temporary solution," UN Environment Goodwill Ambassador Antoinette Taus believe that small actions contribute in saving the environment.
"Whether the litter, or the words that we say and we speak, every action that we make, makes a difference, so don’t forget that you have the power to change the world," Taus said.
